quilting block

I have been playing with fabric the last few days. I decided Phoebes chair needed something pretty on it. I found this fabric, a set of fat quarters, and made this square. It measures approximately 30" and is laid out and ready to quilt. I struggled with this size and can't imagine how I would cope with a large quilt for a bed as much as I enjoy the piecing.

I won't have time to work any more on it this week as I am too busy. Friday I am going for a workshop in Belgium to learn how to use my embroidery module.

This is a lovely quilt you've created. I like the pinwheel design and the colour combination. Phoebe will love it, I'm sure. How did you quilt it - or is it waiting to be done when you get back from your workshop in Belgium? Hope you have lots of fun there!

I think diagonal lines to match the pinwheel, not sure what color yet. But will keep it simple as I am not good at quilting. It will wait till after my workshop though.

Such a beautiful quilt! Lucky Phoebe, what a spoilt little dog! Mind you she is such a sweetie and deserves to be spoilt...has she put in her order for your weekend creations?.....
