Recycling

I painted this in my rose period. I learned to make these roses with Pat Jackson who is in the UK. She came over for a painting course to my local craft club and we did a teddy plate in the workshop. She stayed with me a few days longer and showed me how to paint these lovely  roses in acrylic paint. The recyling bit is the pot. It is an old yoghurt pot that I painted black. I use it keep my brushes in. I really must do some more painting...... so many things I want to do, so few hours in the day.

Hi Joanne, saw your link over at Inka-A-Doodle-do and came over for a peek. I love your beautiful roses on the pot. What fun to use a yogurt container (Yours must be different from the plastic ones here in the USA). Long, long years ago, I took a tole painting class and we did some roses. Mine never looked like this! Yours are glorious, and so striking against the black. What a beauatiful brush container you're going to have. I'll be joining as your newest follower, and invite you to visit me if/when you have time. TFS
